Z&S Fabrics started as a blending of two brick and mortar stores – Zook’s Dry Goods in Intercouse, PA, and Sauder’s Fabrics in Denver, PA.  Originally, the website shared stock with them, taking fabric for orders directly from the shelves in the shops.  As our website (quickly) grew, we discovered that our system of shared stock was not practical, and Z&S Fabrics had to branch out on our own. 

Z&S Fabrics is now an independent fabric shop – exclusive of both shops from which we were developed.  We carry our own inventory, and many of the fabrics that we have online are not found in either one of the brick and mortar stores.  That said, Zook’s and Sauder’s both have many fabrics that we don’t offer online.  If there is something in particular that you are seeking, and it isn’t on the website, then we suggest you contact Zook’s and/or Sauder’s directly.
